fLYqUEST SeaQuest / Deep seaquest

Date: Summer 2020

Description:  For Summer split, we decided to shift focus from trees to the seas and changed our initiative to SeaQuest. We partnered with the Coral Reef Alliance to help save the coral reef since they are currently facing multiple threats such as pollution, overfishing and climate change. To help spread awareness, we changed all of our branding, social assets, merch, and launched an LCS Fish Aquarium stream that included fun facts about sea life and corals. For playoffs, we decided to switch our theme to Deep SeaQuest where we doubled our donations and made a special edition jersey.

My contribution to this project was to create all the design assets and ensured that corals and the sea life was represented in our designs. As much as our theme shifted, we wanted to keep the watercolor medium consistent so that our brand is still presented in a soft and light tone. Since reaching the playoffs was a special moment, we wanted to change things up for Deep SeaQuest and shifted to a dark color scheme.

As a result, we ended up donating over $16,000 from our in-game performances, merchandise, and donations/subscriptions from our LCS Fish Aquarium stream.

For our Summer Collection, I was in charge of the design process, communication with our vendor, and handling the assets to promote it on the website and on our socials.
